I am writing to say how very much I am enjoying "When the Storms Come" based on the book of Job. I find  your exposition of this great book, helpful, encouraging and crystal clear in it's simplicity and it's strict adherence to the Word of God. As you know I am a great fan of the late Dr. Martyn Lloyd-Jones and he said ,"that Christianity is very relevant and urgently important." Your comments and indeed the prayers at the end of each thought, demonstrate this truth. It is so nice to see an Old Testament book expounded. Please carry on the good work, I am sure that it is already blessing many Christians. Those of us who have experienced suffering don't want to hear that it doesn't exist. We want to be reminded that the One who suffered more than any other, not only understands what it's like, but goes through it with us. God bless you.

"When the Storms come" is awe-inspiring, Spirit-filled writing that feeds the soul and encourages .. daily.

We write this note to thank you for your teaching on the book of Job. I read it every morning and try to live by Job’s loyalty to God. It helps me to tell people who constantly blame God for ‘bad’ things that come upon them, i.e. ‘storms’ in their lives, that Almighty God is in control and it is not always God who brings these storms into their lives.
I have been using some of Job’s living in my teaching at the old age home, in a series called; "Two ways to live", and tell the old folks that we can live like Job – trusting God, or the other way like Job’s wife, wanting to curse God.
Of course, as Christians, we must never forget to keep our eyes on the Lord Jesus for guidance and example, and remember what Job and Jesus did – they were always found in a quiet place speaking to the Father.
Keep up the good work, and may God richly bless you as you do His will,- bringing the Word via your writing.

Your monthly devotional on Job is really good.  You must be putting some time into that project.. is it destined to be a book?  I loved the "Ironing Board" being your altar.. I will use that some time soon.
